About Us

The signal on modern life.

Vivre Wire is an independent digital news and media organization reporting on Nigerian life, public policy, enterprise, innovation and global affairs. We aim to be accurate, clear and fair.

Who we are

Vivre Wire was founded in 2026 for readers who want fast news without giving up rigor. Good journalism does more than document chaos. It separates the signal from the noise and gives citizens, decision-makers and innovators the context, data and depth to make sense of a changing society.

Our mission

To inform, educate and empower the public through fact-first reporting that holds power to account, supports civic progress, and looks at modern life with nuance, fairness and accuracy.

Our vision

To be a leading digital publication for modern Nigeria and the wider African continent, recognized for independence, clear investigative work, analytical depth and public trust.

What we stand for

Four principles guide our newsroom. The full detail is in our Editorial Policy.

Facts first, framing second

We report what is confirmed. We treat unverified claims, online speculation and partisan narratives with skepticism, and we check figures, events and quotations against credible on-the-record sources, regulatory documents or our own field reporting.

Balance and the right of reply

We are independent of political parties, corporate lobbies and sectarian interests. When we publish allegations or cover disputes, we present all sides fairly and give people a reasonable chance to respond before publication.

Human dignity

We avoid sensationalism. We cover tragedy, legal proceedings and public disputes with restraint, protect vulnerable people, and do not define anyone by their faith, ethnicity, gender or social status.

Transparent corrections

When we get something wrong or new facts emerge, we correct it promptly and say so. We do not change published facts silently. See our Corrections Policy.
